Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Choose Location: Place on a flat, stable surface away from edges and heat sources.
  2. Clean Before First Use: Wash carafe and all removable parts with warm, soapy water.
  3. Water Reservoir: Fill with fresh, cold water to desired level marking.
  4. Install Filter: Place paper filter or permanent filter in the filter basket.
  5. Add Coffee: Measure and add ground coffee to the filter (1-2 tbsp per 6 oz cup).
  6. Power Connection: Plug into a grounded 120V outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  7. Initial Brew: Run a water-only brew cycle to clean the system before first coffee brew.
Warning: Ensure the coffee maker is unplugged during cleaning and maintenance to prevent electrical hazards.
