Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Clean cloth
  • Measuring cup
  • Fresh water
  • Mild detergent

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unpack and Clean: Remove all packaging materials and clean all removable parts with warm, soapy water before first use.
  2. Choose Location: Place on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface near a power outlet and away from water sources.
  3. Water Reservoir: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not use distilled or softened water.
  4. Install Filter: Insert the permanent coffee filter or place a paper filter in the filter basket.
  5. Add Coffee: Measure and add ground coffee to the filter. Use 1 tablespoon per 6 oz cup.
  6. Power On: Plug into a grounded 120V outlet and press the power button.
  7. Initial Cleaning Cycle: Run a water-only brewing cycle to clean the system before first coffee brew.
Warning: Always ensure the coffee maker is unplugged before cleaning. Do not immerse the base unit in water.

Troubleshooting
