Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unpack and Clean: Remove all packaging materials and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Run a water-only cycle to clean the internal system.
  2. Choose Location: Place on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
  3. Water Reservoir: Fill the removable water reservoir with fresh, filtered water. Do not exceed maximum fill line.
  4. Install Filter: Place a permanent or paper filter in the filter basket according to your preference.
  5. Add Coffee: Add freshly ground coffee to the filter. Use 1 tablespoon per cup as a general guideline.
  6. Power Connection: Plug into a grounded 120V outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the off position.
  7. Initial Brew: Turn on the machine and run a test brew cycle to ensure proper operation.
Warning: Never operate without water in the reservoir. Always use the carafe when brewing to prevent spills and burns.
