CM401 Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Measuring cup
  • Clean cloth
  • Filtered water
  • Fresh coffee beans

Initial Setup & First Use

  1. Unpack and Clean: Remove all packaging materials and wash removable parts with warm, soapy water.
  2. Water Reservoir: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, filtered water to the desired level.
  3. Install Filter: Place a paper filter or permanent filter in the filter basket.
  4. Add Coffee: Measure and add ground coffee to the filter. Use 1 tablespoon per 6 oz cup.
  5. Power Connection: Plug into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.
  6. Initial Cleaning Cycle: Run a complete brewing cycle with water only to clean the system.
  7. First Brew: Brew your first pot of coffee following the brewing instructions.
Warning: Do not immerse the coffee maker base, cord, or plug in water. Keep the appliance dry.

Troubleshooting
